Mission Statement: "2020" Vision
MEDomics was founded in 2008 with the mission of providing Mutation Expert-based Diagnosis ("MED") of the patient's genome to better allow the physician to deliver personalized treatment.
Interpretation of the vast amounts of genotype information made possible by next generation sequencing technology requires highly trained mutation experts. Our world-class personnel make use of bioinformatics, clinical genetics, and mutation analysis to provide high quality interpretations of genome data, which we believe will lead to improved diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Our vision for 2020 is a world in which the primary focus of medicine has evolved from reactively treating the sick patient to proactively managing the risks within the family to delay and/or prevent the onset of disease.
